He's a sharp guy, and it makes sense to me that he would feel this way. Of course, I don't think "leech" is the right word. I would choose a euphemism.

Who is this Samuel Holmes guy anyway.

This is very frustrating to me.  Evidently Aubry de Gray was also making similare remarks to people at Transvition 07, especially because of me claiming to be an Atheist Mormon Transhumanist.

Was it carl that made the comment something along the lines of "I'm not sure what the term 'way out there'" means in a conference like this."

Evidently we are too "way out there" even in a crowd like this?

Brent posted a great response both in his personal blog on this site and in the comments on George's site. There are also several other supportive and encouraging comments.

Maht commented on the "By Common Consent" blog that he was captivated by the idea, expressed in our Sunstone article, that the negative prophecies associated with the advent of the Millennium might be avoided, as Ninevah avoided its prophecied destruction.
